Inclusive child care webinar series
Looking for practical strategies to better understand and respond to children's behaviour? CanAssist at the University of Victoria invites early years professionals to join the second session in its quarterly Inclusive Child Care Webinar Series.
Grounded in CanAssist's Behaviour in the Early Years course, available on the Hub for BC Early Years Professionals, this interactive webinar helps educators look beyond behaviours to better understand the underlying needs children may be communicating. Through real-world scenarios, participants will explore the 4 Functions of Behaviour, apply the Stress Detective and Sensory Profile tools, and practice language shifts that promote belonging and positive outcomes for all children.
Whether you're new to the field or an experienced educator, you'll leave with practical tools and fresh perspectives to support every child with confidence and compassion.
