As a dedicated advocate for accessibility and human rights, Georgia is passionate about fostering inclusive environments and driving meaningful change. She has a Masters of Critical Disability Studies and a wealth of experience collaborating with community organizations. She brings her own experience of disability to all of her work as a Special Projects Coordinator at CanAssist.
Outside of work, Georgia can be found spending all of her time with dogs. Her current Seeing Eye Dog, Maggie, loves adventures. The two of them can often be found swimming at the beach or cruising through the streets downtown.
I acknowledge and respect the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Esquimalt) Peoples on whose territory the university stands, and the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
