Dylan is a fourth-year student at the University of Victoria, completing his Bachelor of Commerce at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business. He joined the CanAssist team as a marketing co-op student in the fall of 2024 through the university's co-op program. With a strong foundation in market research and marketing strategies, Dylan is passionate about leveraging his business skills to help others, a goal that aligns with CanAssist’s mission.

Dylan’s passion for connecting with people and making a positive impact began early, influenced by his volunteer work and roles in customer service. He has applied this passion across diverse experiences, from contributing to tech start-ups to managing his own landscaping project. His personal experiences, including supporting his grandmother and developmentally disabled uncle, have deepened his empathy and commitment to inclusion, driving his interest in assistive technologies.

In his free time, Dylan enjoys exploring Vancouver Island, where he pursues hobbies like surfing, hiking, and camping. He is excited to bring his enthusiasm, communication skills, and dedication to community engagement to the CanAssist team.

I acknowledge and respect the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples, including the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, on whose land the University of Victoria is located and where I live and work. I also recognize the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, whose historical and ongoing relationships with the land continue to this day.
