I am a member of Alderville First Nation, home to the Mississauga Anishinabeg, and I am of settler-colonial ancestry. I recognize the importance of acknowledging the grounds on which we are privileged to gather and call home. I was raised in the Treaty 7 region on the traditional territories of the Tsuut’ina Nation. I have lived on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ People since 2014.
