Victoria is a committed Job Coach at CanAssist. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate systems, achieve meaningful employment opportunities and develop interpersonal skills. Since 2018, she has supported children, youth, and families with diverse needs through various roles such as Youth and Family Counsellor and Behaviour Consultant. Her lived experience as a Black woman in Canada has fueled her passion for inclusion, diversity and social justice.

With a Bachelor of Social Work and specialized training in Emergency First Aid, Safe-Talk Suicide Prevention, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Victoria brings a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally safe approach to her practice. She is committed to meeting individuals where they are, honouring their lived experiences, and fostering a sense of safety, dignity, and belonging.

Victoria values collaboration, accessibility, and empowerment in every relationship she builds, and strives to create supportive spaces that promote resilience, personal growth, and meaningful change. She is passionate about advocacy, mental health, and ensuring that people feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys weight training, spending time outdoors, and connecting with family and friends. She loves staying active, exploring nature, and finding balance through movement and community.
