Mechanical Design Technician Co-op

Liam is a returning Mechanical Design Technician Co-op at CanAssist. He works on mechanical design, prototyping, and fabrication for assistive technology projects, supporting the development of accessible devices that can be built, tested, and improved through use.

He is currently completing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria. With a strong hands-on background in CAD, machining, and fabrication, Liam enjoys tackling mechanical problems and refining designs through iteration and testing. He values straightforward, functional solutions and learning through hands-on work.

Outside of work, Liam spends his time mountain biking, skiing, backpacking, surfing, and enjoys fixing cars and working on mechanical projects in his spare time.
