I would like to acknowledge with respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional territory I live, work, and play, as well the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. I believe acknowledging these traditional territories is important for reconciliation, decolonization and education. I am very grateful to live on the beautiful Turtle Island.
