Eric is a fourth-year Software Engineering student at the University of Victoria and is currently doing his second co-op term with CanAssist as an Electronics Design Technician. He is excited to apply his skills and knowledge to CanAssist's work on technology solutions that support accessibility.
Alongside his education in topics like software testing and embedded systems programming, Eric has developed a solid background in electronics and PCB design through personal projects and his time with the UVic Rocketry Team. In the future, he hopes to work in a similar field to his current role, doing hands-on design and testing of electronics and low-level firmware.
Outside of work and school, Eric has many creative hobbies such as playing piano, oil painting, and film photography. He also enjoys exploring nature and playing overcomplicated board games with his friends.
Eric would like to acknowledge with gratitude that he lives and works on the traditional unceded territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, whose deep relationships with their land continue to this day.
