As the Project Manager for the Provincial Employment Strategy for Youth with Disabilities (ESYD) Program in CanAssist, Kavyamrutha Xavier, ensures team alignment with project objectives and strategically plans implementation to achieve shared goals.
Kavya graduated from the Royal Roads University with a Masters in Global Management and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management and is working towards getting her PMP certification. Along with exposure to working in a diverse, global setting, Kavya has over 6 years’ experience leading and managing complex content development projects. In her previous roles, she has worked closely with individuals that require additional support to complete their day-to-day activities due to workplace injuries or require accommodation due to pre-existing conditions. Deeply committed to community engagement, Kavya has volunteered at multiple non-profit organizations in India and is currently an active Volunteer at BCSPCA.
